I think I talked a lot today! Because I got to know that Hector, our guest from Colombia had studied filming in Ukraine, formerly part of the USSR. I felt an affinity with him.<\/p>\n

Hector was evacuated from the nuclear meltdown at Chernobyl in 1986. He had a friend of his in Kanazawa so Hector leaned over to him. That was his first experience of Japan. He thought that Japanese people were socially-aware and perfect. I thought a similar tought. Tha’s also the reason I felt a kinship with Hector.<\/p>\n

But over time he wondered, “Why do they have bullying problems even though Japanese people are supposed to be very kind?”<\/p>\n

Hector said, “In Japan, there are a lot of things that you have to work on.” Listening to neighbor’s voice and doing what he\/she wants you to do. Tokuhashi-san, my co-host, told me that I’ve been doing activities for peace! I’ve been singing for people in front of me. But Tokuhashi san said that’s a kind of contribution to the making of a peaceful world because many people are healed through my singing voice.<\/p>\n

And we talked about “suicide”. About 30,000 people kill themselves a year. I don’t know why! I’ve been wondering why but I couldn’t find any answer of it.
\nI really want Japanese people to find an alternative to taking your own life.<\/p>\n
