Do you know there is a school for Russians in Chuo-ku, Tokyo? It’s small, but you would hear no other languages than Russian once you enter a classroom. You would forget that you’re in the heart of Tokyo. It’s called “Rosinka”, which is run by two Russian women, Olga Yakovleva and Mariya Kuraoka.
\n“Rosianka” means “morning dew” in Russian. Rosinka stands for cute children and a “little Russia”.<\/p>\n

Olga and Mariya have kids (they’re the same age) but it got harder for them to communicate with their kids. Because kids learned Japanese like sponges and surpassed their mothers’ Japanese skills. On the other hand, kids’ Russian language skills degrade. That urged two women to open a Russian Class.
\nIt was 3 years ago and Russian moms who are in the same situation as they were began to send their kids to the school. Some of its students come to a class from not only Chuo-ku but also other areas.<\/p>\n
