We had a belly dancer as a guest tonight! Elina Kalita, an Ukrainian dancer, is a Chuo-ku resident and she’s been friends with Ekaterina for over 10 years.
\nElina has a belly dancing career that spans about 20 years. Before that, she was a dancer who belonged to the Ukrainian national folk dance company. But once she looked at a beautiful performance of a belly dancer in Dubai, she was absolutely charmed by its “intelligent sexiness”. That was her turning point.<\/p>\n

Since she came to Japan, Elina has widen her appeal such as movies and music videos. And she opened her own dance school called “Make your body with ELINA”<\/a> in Naka-meguro last August.
\nEvery time she teaches her students how to dance, she says, “You don’t need to perform like me. You don’t have to try to dance well. Dance in ways you like”. \u00a0Because each person has his\/her own individuality and Elina wants to draw it out, she said.<\/p>\n
